Samples of Silver Storm art work



Samples of artwork by Silver Storm Imaging, done in PhotoShop. The first three are details from book covers. The axe in the first design was rusty, and the handle was broken. Our artist, Samuel Richardson copied pieces of the background and pasted them onto the axe head to give it a shiny, new look. Then he painted the rest of the handle and created the patterns for the rest of the cover's background. All titles were typed, then rasterized, then manipulated to show the 3D and metallic effects. The background behind Kokopelli is clip art, but Samuel did the gold Kokopelli using the smudge tool in PhotoShop.

The cirlce graph is one of many Illustrator images Samuel did for the book, "Jesus of Nazareth, Savior and King." The circle graph has more patterns than was available in Illustrator, so Samuel created his own designs to put in the graph and in some of the maps he made for the book.

The record in the logo at right was scanned, but he copied the grooves on the right side, and put them on the opposite side of the record, then enhanced the idle grooves. He proceeded to make the circular type for the label, and painted the rest of the logo.
